Federica was born in Lecco in 1982. She’s an expert in Gastronomy and in Lake Como territory. She’s really passionate in good food and culture and history of gastronomy production and process. Degree from the University of Gastronomy Sciences where she still works as assistant.
She’s been organizing educational gastronomy travels all around the world for the University where she’s from and exclusive Travel Agencies. She’s now inviting everyone to travel with her through her homeland (Lake Como and surrounding valleys): lake, mountains, valleys and local people who really love their territory of origin.
She’s always looking for authenticity, excellence and reality which mostly means traveling off the beaten tracks.
In this period when food is more fashionable than jewels, I like to get into the fundamentals and most interesting aspects of food in relation to its place of origin: territory, farming, productions that designed the economy and wrote the traditions of that place; also the stories of the inhabitants are essential in understanding habits in terms of culture and cooking.
