Have you ever noticed how many flavors come from tasting a spoon of honey?! Bees are hard workers collecting all different pollen during all the blooming seasons. Enter the life of an apiculturist into the Valvarrone Valley, over Lake Como. Learn about the Life in a beehive and visit its complex. Be guided through a suggestive tasting of honey from different flowerings. This experience will take place directly on the apiculturists’s fields where their bees are guardians.
You’ll be welcomed by the history of this women-owned business and some basic information on how’s life with bees. You’ll be then guided through the beehives, with a beekeeping suit of course and the apiculturist with you. Beekeepers will also show you their lab where it’s up to humans now to work on honey and make it ready for us. Have you ever tried to extract honey from frames? Well, it’s about time! 😉
After all these info and work, you’ll be served a delicious honey tasting with local produces.
